Floral Festival weekend was a great success.

Thank goodness for a warm sunny day; a real bonus.   Well attended.   The Art and Embroidery exhibitions in the village hall were superb, the cream teas wonderful, the floral art display in the church very impressive and the stalls in the village square very successful.  The bonus of live music to lift the spirit, a very interesting talk by one of our local historians in the Heritage Centre and a bouncy castle in the park added to the atmosphere.   The scarecrows dotted around the village phenomenal; some very clever displays.   Those who opened their gardens were amply rewarded with very favourable comments on their hard work.   All in all 'A Good Day'.

The Floral Festival will .be bringing the community together to showcase and enjoy all things floral!
